Honorary Consul Vojislav Kovač attended the central ceremony for Slovenia’s Statehood Day, held at Congress Square in Ljubljana, as in previous years. The official speaker for the 34th anniversary of the Slovenian state was the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of responsibility towards the future, the state, and the victims on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia after the Second World War.
