Washington, February 6, 2025
The businessman and honorary consul of Montenegro in the Republic of Slovenia, Vojislav Kovač, attended the 73rd Prayer Breakfast in Washington at the invitation of the United States Congress. The event, traditionally held on the first Thursday in February, was hosted by the American President Donald Trump, who greeted the attendees – American officials, members of Congress, and distinguished guests from many countries around the world. President Trump, in addition to calling for unity, took the opportunity to announce new initiatives aimed, among other things, at protecting religious freedoms.
This was not the first time Mr. Vojislav Kovač had been invited to this event. In 2016, he was a guest at the Prayer Breakfast at the invitation of the US Congress, when the host was the American President Barack Obama.
“The Prayer Breakfast is an opportunity to strengthen the foundations for international cooperation and build mutual relations, which can lead to concrete actions and agreements on a global level,” said the businessman and honorary consul of Montenegro, Vojislav Kovač.
