The Honorary Consul of Montenegro in the Republic of Slovenia Vojislav Kovac, as part of the first official visit to the Republic of Slovenia of Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic, organized a meeting of the President with the representatives of the Slovenian economy in Montenegro and prominent Montenegrins living and working in Slovenia.
Honorary Consul Vojislav Kovac welcomed the President and members of the boards of the largest Slovenian companies working in Montenegro (NLB, Petrol, Zavarovalnica Triglav, Intereuropa, Interenergo…), and he said that the establishment of a stable and predictable business environment is a prerequisite for intensifying economic activity and attracting new investments, which was the topic of the talks with the new President of Montenegro.
The topic of the discussion with prominent individuals from Montenegro living and working in Slovenia was how to establish an even better relationship with Montenegro, which must not lose its own quality human capital. On this occasion, while exchanging ideas on ways to further improve cooperation, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic announced amendments to the Law on Citizenship of Montenegro.
During the two-day working visit of President of Montenegro Jakov Milatovic to Slovenia, an official dinner was organized, at which the prominent guests from Montenegro and the Honorary Consul Vojislav Kovac were hosted by the President of Slovenia Natasa Pirc Musar.
