In Ljubljana, the book “The Land Behind God’s Back” by the prominent Dutch writer A. Den Dolard, inspired by the Montenegrin man and his fate, was promoted to mark Montenegro’s Independence Day. The event, attended by representatives of the diaspora and public and cultural life of Slovenia, was sponsored by the honorary consul Vojislav Kovač.
On May 21 Montenegro celebrates 19 years since it regained state independence in a referendum in 2006.
