The 19th Exponto International Performing Arts Festival took place in Ljubljana from 14th to 23rd September 2012. This year’s theme of the festival was ”New and old values?”. 14 plays from Russia, Hungary, France, Italy, Portugal, Sweden and of course from the former Yugoslavian countries were performed at the festival.
The play ”Mountain Wreath”, performed by the Montenegrin National Theatre and directed by a Slovenian director Diego de Brea, caused positive reactions from the audience. It was performed as the final play at the EXPONTO festival. Together with the play from France, the play from Montenegro shared the third place with the highest number of votes from the audience.
The honorary consul of Montenegro in Slovenia, Mr. Vojislav Kovač, was also one of this year’s sponsors of the EXPONTO festival. He congratulated the organizers of the festival for an excellent organization as well as the Montenegrin artists for a won prize.
