As part of the “Montenegro 2025” Economic Conference held in Budva, a panel was organized on the role of honorary consuls in strengthening economic diplomacy. The panel included Honorary Consul Vojislav Kovač.

The Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, Pavle D. Radovanović, emphasized the importance of economic diplomacy and the need to place it at the center of the conference, noting that connecting business and diplomacy is crucial for enhancing the competitiveness of Montenegrin companies and attracting investment.

Speaking about economic relations between the two countries, the Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Slovenia, Vojislav Kovač, pointed out that Montenegrin companies have been active in Slovenia in recent years, particularly in the engineering and construction sectors, adding that through their work and projects they have demonstrated competitiveness even in the demanding European market.

He noted that what Montenegro needs most at this moment for further development is unity, that is, constitutional patriotism, which, he said, is nothing other than respect for the laws and Constitution of Montenegro. Only in this way can Montenegro develop its state and its potential, Kovač added.
